Good end to a frustrating start

Last night started off really bad for me. First it took me 2hrs to connect to the internet as my desktop did not seem to want to connect for whatever reason!

Soon as I get connected and start playing a few sessions I realize how tired I am. Doesn’t take long for me to make a bad mistake with A-Ko utg against a LAG type mp 3betor. I shove meh so bad, he tanks then shows me QQ. My month has been going pretty terrible as you will see when I post a graph tomorrow.

Few sessions later the games seem really good but I’m far too tired to play and the…

Little background info

Holla!I’m Mat from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.

I have enjoyed playing poker over the last few years online. I used to work in sales and was just becoming a winning player late "2005" when i got axed from work! I decided to give poker a few months whilst out of a job to see what develops.

Here I Am! My ambition in the short term is to make enough money through poker to travel around the world sight-seeing and playing poker along the way enjoying the finer things in life. Then after that I guess I will have to see!

In my spare time I currently work as a Volunteer Youth Worker and I just started a part-time paid Youth Support Worker's post "Jan-08" at my local youth centre. I also attend college 2-days a week on an Auto-Cad course.

I’d say that I’m a nice guy that gives people a fair chance in life, if I put effort in with people I expect the same in return. I’m into most kinds of music, I Know how to party hard, but don’t get out as much as I would like as most friends are now tied down.

I have had a blog over at Myspace with 87 posts since March“2007”.The reason I set up this “Blogger” account is to meet other poker pros, share and gain experience to try to concentrate much more on poker and get more motivated to play more hands each month. The way I intend to do this will be addressed in my first blog.

Also I think this is a better place to blog as this has become quite common ground for poker bloggers!
