With 31 days to go to the SCOOP I decided it's time to check out the events page.It's crazy to look at the events and all time winners in the series of tournaments run on PS.Over $38.3million USD has been won so far and with the next installment of SCOOP just around the corner with a guaranteed $45million USD prize pool over 38 events its defiantly time to be shot taking.

Saturday Super 50 £15k Gtd

My expectations were high as they always are when I sit down infront of soft opposition.I was pretty upset that I only managed 113th/312

I started off pretty bad after I raised QJs in MP and got a CO caller.Flop was Ace high with one of my suit cards.I C-Bet with the back door and pick up the Ks on the turn with is a pretty good or pretty bad card for me.I decide with the Royal Flush/Flush/Straight back doors I'm betting turn.I miss and check the Jx river praying that some clown called with a mid PP.He checks back and shows AKo.This is crazy I'm thinking.God live players are donks who are so clueless. REDONKULOUS

Few more spots I lost trying to pick up pots and I'm down from 10k starting stack to 3400 at my lowest point.I think I had shot my table image in the first 1.5hrs.I got my chips back to 7800 and I got moved tables.First hand CO raises I'm in BB with QQ.I decided to slowroll and call.9high flop I check he auto-overbet-ships I Meta-Snapped just as he said it and we put them on backs he shows AKo.Turn comes Ace ldo(I'm thinking pretty std I run so bad it's untrue)Then river comes Q and I'm speechless.First time I re-drawed to a 2-outta since the dinosaurs became extinct!

The blinds became pretty big and after being at 18k I soon dwindled down to 8k by about 8:30pm after only winning one other hand at that table.

I got moved tables again and the second hand I'm utg+1 with KK and utg tournament chip leader raises.I take a look up the table(like I'm actually considering the rest of the table lul)and ship after about 12 seconds.Table folds back to him and he says"I got total crap but I'm calling".Think blinds were 800/1600 with 100 antes at the time so after he made it 4200 it was only 3800 to call with his Q9s.I can see why he called as he had over 100k but it didn't feel nice for him to almost lock it up on the flop with the flopped straight.Turn paired board and I'm thinking I will not redraw to another 2-outta until the recession is over now!River is no help and I'm busted out in 113th place.

Feel like I wasted my time 3pm-8:30pm.I know I didn't play great and could have had about 6k more in my stack which might have influenced his decision but that's life.

Tournament Poker

I got a 238/9654 finish in a freeroll event at stars and got about $7 or something.

I have been playing some 25c 90-man sngs on PS with a random $1 free money email from stars wanting me to play the games.I played those before I went on Saturday I think?Can't quite remember things have been upside down for me the last 2 weeks with studies and stuff.I did quite well.Played 18 cashed in seven.I got 3rd,4th,5th,7th,10th and two 12th place finishes.I bubbled one in 13th and came closeish in the rest proablly mid 20th-35th place.

I quickly busted the money I had won taking it to the cash game's as it's not much fun 12 tabling 90-mans for 6.5hrs.Don't know how you sng pros do this.

I won a seat into a WSOP 5 seat giveaway through a Satellite on Full Tilt Poker.Man so far there is 29,945 players registered.It only costs $1+10c to register but I'm so non-balla I took the freeroll root.It's good MTT experience for $1.10c though definitely.If your a luckbox I'd say take a shot and try to get one of the 5 x $12k packages up for grabs for this years WSOP.

FTP Micro Cash game Experiment

After cashing in $100 at FTP and being quickly smashed at HU and sucked out on at $30 cap I was down to $19.I usually just tilt off small potatoes and find someone wanting PLO flips or something but this time I came back a day later motivated.I have been 40BB 6-tabling micro games with a shoving strategy.Amazing what people call with down there!

I was looking last night and I'm 13th for the week at $2nl on Poker Table Ratings which I think is pretty amusing after only having played 3 days.

I have been unmotivated and hating poker for ages,playing this low seems to be motivating and reaffirming my discipline within the game.I think when I play today I'm going to try $5nl with the same strategy.
