York Residential 2010
Other things which has kept me busy in real life have been dating a Filipino girl who I’m now in a relationship with. I posted 3 blogs back about scoring her number ha-ha
Also I have now heard back from my manager that I past my Diploma in Youth Work which has taken about 1.5years to complete. Also 4 weeks ago I completed a week long course to become a lifeguard. For almost 3 years now I have ran about 4 miles a week, biked 20-50 miles a week and swum around 1 mile a week. I figured getting into life guarding I could work before the games get good and then get a free swim every time I work if I go early. Has to be +EV.

Surprisingly I have been playing lots of poker too. Over the last 3 weeks my sleep pattern has become really messed up and I noticed I’m not playing as good when the sessions start to give me negative variance. I tilt quicker because I’m mentally fatigued I guess.(LOL at people who say they don’t tilt ever GTFO)
Euro Challenge
I’ve had some real issues with Boss Media’s flag ship site Inter Poker. Man support is usually pretty good for such a small site but recently I have been playing email tennis for two Rakeback payments and 2 Rake Race Payments. I got all of the payments now apart from a Rake Race payment which should be paid on the 15th-18th of this month. I have not played there since they held back the payments. They always pay on time so I suspect business is bad for them right now. Soon as I get the last payment I’m cashing out my roll and transferring to Party Poker which I have been playing since that issue began.
Future of Online Poker
I feel that this second wave of recreational players that will hit the online poker player pool when HR2267 gets through congress and the president signs the bill to make it law will make this game much more fun and obviously more profitable.
My Predictions:
Time line within 1.5years,March 2012
I think the U.S will implement some kind of taxation structure which will affect the global market. Basically making us all pay taxes for playing in their market. If you noticed a few countries have already gone by this route. France was the last to implement this within their own poker economy.
Length of boom will be shorter than the original boom as a fair % of the current player pool has become much more educated by the current resources available like online poker training sites, books and poker strategy forums.
Obviously my choice to play back at party has something to do with this as I think all the recreational players will choose Party Poker. Look how Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars have conducted themselves when the UIGEA first was made law to back up the grey area regarding this market, and look how Party Poker conducted themselves. Party Poker paid up the millions of dollars which they was fined and banned U.S customers from the real money games. Who do you think is going to get preference on operations in a new legalized market place? I’d bet my roll on it!
Sorry for such a long winded blog entry hope this street performer footage from York eases the pain you may have suffered if you read all this
