Last few days

Friday
I played a lot of hands but managed to make $700 in mistakes so this got me off to bad start for the day.

Few mistakes 6max
http://weaktight.com/127621 I really didn’t think this was thin at all.

http://weaktight.com/127623 I just can’t stop 3barrelling at times.

http://weaktight.com/127630 I really got stuck here, decide to check the flop and bet the turn. Think I should just c/f both streets bleh.

http://weaktight.com/127627 I should have called the turn getting cheap draw, guess I just saw him as real weak and tried to take it down!
Hands that different lines would have been better

http://weaktight.com/127625 This player plays the hand really well, very strong line.Looking back now knowing his hand it’s better to raise the flop or shove the turn. At the time I didn’t want to raise the flop with pair being on it, just would have seemed a bit bluffy(exactly what I don’t want when I have AIR)

http://weaktight.com/127626 Blind battles, bleh seems I can’t win flips.

Feeling frustrated at 6max I decide to play some HU .5/1 at FT and won a few stacks.

After the HU match I got back to playing well(or better than I was at 6max earlier in the day)

Crazy game at 400nl 6max
Ok so this game was nuts with a player playing these stats:

Obvious everyone should adapt to players like this at a table, but some of the players where still trying to bluff, isolate and other things that are not good ideas for players of this rare nature.
My first big mistake against him was trying to trap AK on the button. He had been squeezing any hand that there was a raise and at least 1 cold call. I saw this hand as a great opportunity to trap then shove over his squeeze play.

http://weaktight.com/127660 Unfortunately it got 4bet by a 20/15/2.6 type so this must be QQ-AA and at best AK
Being a little frustrated with my play earlier and the few times I took a flop and had to laydown probably the best hand against the other player, without thinking I just auto-shove my AK. The squeezer insta-folds and the other guy shows me AA, bleh

There where 2 times I tried to play KK just cold calling preflop and both those times the over aggressive play just cold calls, firstly making a straight on the turn and the other hand flopping 2 pair with Q-3s. Truly horrible plays which did not work one bit.

The hands which worked out
http://weaktight.com/127677 Not long after I made the horrible AK push, o I blame that on the preflop call

http://weaktight.com/127678 This is a good example of how playing like a call station against over aggressive players can get you more value than betting or raising.

http://weaktight.com/127679 This hand I think I lose out on so much on value but it’s tricky as often he does not show up with a lot here. I really wish I’d bet $225

http://weaktight.com/127680 This one ended it and he left after.

I managed to start off stuck $850ish at this table and clawed it all back and left $550+ for this table.

I still finished the day -$170

Saturday
I decided to take a day off and go and watch the boxing and get drunk with mates around at my friends house. Was really funny as the boxing didn’t start til 2:30am and we all fell asleep for a few hours then woke back up.Hilarious old men syndrome or what?

I managed to play 35hands at 2/4 before I headed to my mates and won $170 so that makes me even for last 2 days of poker.
